Built around one idea: growth shouldn't cost you access
AxisTrade exists to give freelancers and independent consultants a clearer, calmer way to manage working capital — without locking it away.
Why we started AxisTrade
Independent work in Germany has grown more flexible, but the financial tools built for it haven't kept pace. Freelancers and consultants are often asked to choose between putting capital to work or keeping it liquid enough to cover quiet months, tax deadlines, or a sudden gap between contracts.
AxisTrade was founded to remove that trade-off. We set out to build an approach to capital optimisation that respects the irregular, project-based nature of independent income — one where funds stay productive without becoming harder to reach when they're needed most.
Optimisation that never gets in your way
We believe capital should work quietly in the background of a freelance business — supporting it, not complicating it. Our mission is to make that possible through an AI-driven approach built specifically for how independent professionals actually earn and spend.
The principles behind how we build
Access first
Liquidity is never an afterthought. Every optimisation decision is weighed against how easily you can reach your funds when circumstances change.
Built for irregular income
We design around the reality of freelance and consulting work — uneven invoicing cycles, seasonal gaps, and project-based cash flow.
Clarity over complexity
We favour straightforward, understandable mechanics over opaque financial engineering, so you always know where your capital stands.
A team focused on one problem
AxisTrade brings together people working on financial technology, data-driven optimisation, and the day-to-day realities of independent work in Germany. Rather than spreading across many products, our focus stays narrow: helping freelancers and consultants keep capital both active and accessible, season after season.
Where we're headed
As more independent professionals build their businesses around flexibility, we're committed to refining our approach alongside them — staying focused on the balance between growth and liquidity that makes freelance work sustainable in the long run.
